13. edition of the WIND and WATER on water Boat Show

The WIND and WATER on water Boat Show in Gdynia just finished.  The strategic partner of the Boat Show is Gdynia – the sailing capital of Poland.

Four days abounded in many attractions. Nearly 130 exhibitors and more than 12,000 visitors participated in the Boat Show that took place between August 9-12 in Gdynia Marina. Over 120 vessels were exhibited, and in the tent halls set on the quay, a huge variety of sailing and motor boating accessories, navigation instruments, safety and rescue equipment, as well as tourists and sports clothing was presented.

More exhibition space sold, 15% more exhibitors comparing to last year, rich accompanying program – that’s a summary of the 13th WIND and WATER on WATER Boat Show in Gdynia.

The WIND and WATER on water Boat Show included the ceremony of the President of the City of Gdynia Award closing the GDYNIA YACHT DESIGN competition, announced specially for the Fair. The aim of the competition is to find and honor the most beautiful sailing yacht and motor yacht presented at the Boat Show. Furthermore, during the Boat Show were announced the nominations in the competition “Jacht Roku w Polsce – Polish Yacht of the Year”, organized by the water sports magazine “ŻAGLE”.

This year's WIND and WATER on water was an exceptional edition: the potential of the Polish yachting industry was explored by the participants of the Mission Study Tour – potential business partners and journalists from the yachting and boating industry from the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates. As part of the Mission, many business meetings took place with industry representatives, constructors and champions of water sports from Poland. Furthermore, our special guests from abroad participated in tests of representative Polish vessels as well as press conference "The strength and potential of the Polish yacht industry. Elements of the government's industry support program on foreign markets. "

We would like to thank the President of Gdynia, Boat Show participants from Poland and abroad - exhibitors, representatives of honorary and media patrons, our guests from the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates representing the press and yachting industry and all water sports enthusiasts who visited the Fair.
